Today was yet another day of working on the music video. After filming we now have to edit the clips and put them all together. Since we had all our best clips in one folder it made it a lot easier to edit. One thing we had to do was put the clips in order according to the storyboard. We had the order of the scenes already planned out in the storyboard. After that we added the music to the video. We added the song pompeii to the audio of the music video as that is what song we are doing our music video on. We then took out the audio from all the other clips so the song was the only audio. Then, we trimmed each clip. We trimmed each clip to fit the music and the beat. We also trimmed it so it would fit the time requirement for the music video. We did this by either taking a couple seconds off the end of each clip or taking out parts where we brok character at the end of the scene and didnt stop recording in time. We then added all our effects to the video. Some effects we added included visual and audio effects. The first effect we added was a filter. This filter made it clear that the scene was a flashback. It was a filter that gave the clip an old vibe. We also added a zoom effect to show we were going inside the characters mind. We then added other filters to make the sad scenes more sad and the happy scenes more happy. After all that, we added an audio effect. We added the audio of the hart monitor beeping then flatlinging in the scene where the old man dies. Overall we learned a lot about how to edit videos.
