Group Intro Blog

 Hello, my name is Luke Hamill and I am a sophmore in high school. I am taking the media studies course and we are starting a new project. Me and my group will be creating an opening sequence to a film. My group consists of four people including me. I will now introduce those four.

The first member of my group is Cayden McTighe. He is also 16 years old and a sophmore. He is one of my closest friends and we know each other well. He makes very good grades and is helpful when it comes to camera work. He was also in my group for the past two projects.

The next group members name is Zane Knap. He is also the same age as both of us. He is also one of my closest friends and I trust him to help me work. He is the main actor for both of the previous projects. Next I will introduce the next group member.

His name is Ely Silverburg. He has only worked with us for the past project. During the commercial he was working for a different group. He helped with editing for the music video.

That is my group and we are very excited to make this opening sequence.

Production Blog: Editing Again

 Yesterday, I didn’t complete editing my entire short film. So today, I resumed editing. I got on my computer and started up my editing software. The editing software I use is on CapCut. I went over all the editing I did yesterday. This way I could see where I left off and what needed to be done. I made a mental list of what needed to be done at the end of the day. Today was pretty much the last day of editing so I had to make sure everything was done. After all of that I began editing. I pretty much just did what I did yesterday but on different clips. I started with adjusting the clips to the correct length. This made sure there was no background noise or talking. This also made sure there was no awkward silences. I then added music. This really brought the short film together. After that, I added some text to the clips. I watched it all together to make sure it was correct. After that, I put on some finishing touches.  Hello , My name is Luke Hamill and I am a sixteen year old boy. I was born on October 30th 2005. I  play sports such as football and basketball and my favorite subject in school is History. I play tight end and defensive end on the varsity football team at my school. I love film and music, especially 90s-early 2000s alternative music. I love and I'm excited to take AICE Media Studies again as I love film and I am very excited to plan out and shoot my own short film.       My favorite movies are "The Usual Suspects" and "Spider-Man 2". Spider-Man has been my favorite since a kid, I just really like the character. I even have a Spider-Man poster in my room.
