Production Blog: Filming Second Day


Today we did our second filming session for our final project. Today was an early release day for school so we had a lot more time to film. We had a lot more to film too since our last filming session got canceled. So that worked out since we had a lot of time too film. Last time we filmed we didn’t finish filming the entire thing. So , this time we planned to start where we left off. We planned this out the day our filming session was canceled.  Once school was over we went to our filming location. After we arrived we started planning. We started planning which scenes we were going to shoot and how we were going to shoot them. After we finished planning we began re-constructing our set. We had to prepare the set we were going to film at. After we did that we prepared our wardrobes. We put on the clothes we were wearing last time we filmed. We then began filming were we left off. We told the actor and cameraman how we were going to film the shot and then the cameraman hit record. The actor would then say their lines and then the cameraman would stop recording. We had to re-shoot many scenes for many reasons. We had to re-shoot scenes every time we didn’t like the result. Overall, we got a lot of filming done today.

Filming Day!!!!!!

 My name is Luke Hamill and today me and my group finished our first day of filming our commercial. We filmed our project at a group members house. The name of the group member whos house we used was Zane Knapp. When we first got to his house we left to go film the scenes that needed to be filmed outside due to the weather being good. We didnt want to wait incase it rained. Our first location we filmed at was the park because those scenes take place outside, while playing sports at the park. Our main actor was Zane Knapp as he played the old man. We used one of the group members little brothers to be our child actor in our music video. He played in the scenes where our main character was a child. While another group member played our characters father. After we got our scenes done outside we went back to Zane's house.  Hello , My name is Luke Hamill and I am a sixteen year old boy. I was born on October 30th 2005. I  play sports such as football and basketball and my favorite subject in school is History. I play tight end and defensive end on the varsity football team at my school. I love film and music, especially 90s-early 2000s alternative music.
