Production Blog: Self Review


 Today I decided I was going to self review my own film. I looked very closely for any flaws in the final task. After a couple times of watching , I spotted a couple. All of these flaws could be fixed with editing. They had to do with the after effects of the task. The first one had to do with the sound. It was the music that was throwing me off. I realized the choice of music could be a bit better. I looked back at some other music choices I had made and decided there was a better choice. The music that was currently being used didn’t really create the scene I wanted too. But this new choice did. So, I ended up replacing the old music with the new music I decided on. I also realized another issue. There was an issue with the titles screen. It also didn’t really fit what I wanted the scene to be. I then realized it was the font that was throwing me off. I decided to change the font and see if it was any better. I changed it a couple times and realized one of them was the right one. Overall this was a successful day of production.

Filming Day!!!!!!

 My name is Luke Hamill and today me and my group finished our first day of filming our commercial. We filmed our project at a group members house. The name of the group member whos house we used was Zane Knapp. When we first got to his house we left to go film the scenes that needed to be filmed outside due to the weather being good. We didnt want to wait incase it rained. Our first location we filmed at was the park because those scenes take place outside, while playing sports at the park. Our main actor was Zane Knapp as he played the old man. We used one of the group members little brothers to be our child actor in our music video. He played in the scenes where our main character was a child. While another group member played our characters father. After we got our scenes done outside we went back to Zane's house.  Hello , My name is Luke Hamill and I am a sixteen year old boy. I was born on October 30th 2005. I  play sports such as football and basketball and my favorite subject in school is History. I play tight end and defensive end on the varsity football team at my school. I love film and music, especially 90s-early 2000s alternative music.
