February 18- Film at library.

February 19- Film at store/bank.

February 23- Edit.

February 25- Edit

February 26 - Edit.

March 4 - Finishing touches.

Actors will be under constant adult supervision and any moving vehicles will be operated by a mature adult.

  • If filming cannot be completed due to a sick or absent team member there will be friends we can use as replacement actors or camera men.  All locations are set in stone and are for sure allowed for use.

  Research: How to make a short film        The words short film are a teaser. Although the name may sound like it's an easy quick process, short films take a lot of time, effort, and energy. I learned from this video that planning is one of, if not the, most crucial of all steps in the short film making process. One of the most key takeaways in planning I got from this video is that it is crucial to write for the kind of movie you are trying to make. Now this sounded obvious until I thought about it deeper. When writing our script and planning for the creation of our movie it is key that we do not bite off more than we can chew, meaning do not try to incorporate things into our film that we know will not be possible for us to create. Production Blog: Editing Again

 Yesterday, I didn’t complete editing my entire short film. So today, I resumed editing. I got on my computer and started up my editing software. The editing software I use is on CapCut. I went over all the editing I did yesterday. This way I could see where I left off and what needed to be done. I made a mental list of what needed to be done at the end of the day. Today was pretty much the last day of editing so I had to make sure everything was done. After all of that I began editing. I pretty much just did what I did yesterday but on different clips. I started with adjusting the clips to the correct length. This made sure there was no background noise or talking. This also made sure there was no awkward silences. I then added music. This really brought the short film together. After that, I added some text to the clips. I watched it all together to make sure it was correct. After that, I put on some finishing touches.  Hello , My name is Luke Hamill and I am a sixteen year old boy. I was born on October 30th 2005. I  play sports such as football and basketball and my favorite subject in school is History. I play tight end and defensive end on the varsity football team at my school. I love film and music, especially 90s-early 2000s alternative music. I love and I'm excited to take AICE Media Studies again as I love film and I am very excited to plan out and shoot my own short film.       My favorite movies are "The Usual Suspects" and "Spider-Man 2". Spider-Man has been my favorite since a kid, I just really like the character. I even have a Spider-Man poster in my room.
