 Today we resumed where I left off last with editing. First I re-watched what I had edited last time. Then, I realized there was a few things I didnt like. The first thing I didnt like was how some of the cuts seemed so sudden and out of place. So, I adjusted the length of some of the clips and then I checked if that worked. It still wasn't like what I wanted it to be like so I had to try something else. I tried adjusting the audios so the sound woudn't suddenly change. I only adjusted the audios at the end and beggining of each clip. Suprisingly, it worked very well. The video seemed a lot smoother and the transitions as well. Before, the audio would suddenly change and it seemed very jumpy. This happened because the background sound was very loud. When re-watching I realized I forgot to do another thing. When the music was playing I forgot to mute the background audio. So the background audio was very loud and it sounded sloppy. I then muted the background audio and it was a

Today me and the group were again working on our final task. Today, we started editing our final task. Today we had no school so we had all day to edit. We went to my house and used my computer to edit. I did most of the editing while the other group gave suggestions because I know how to use IMovie the best. To edit we used a free editing software called iMovie. But before we started editing, we needed to upload all our video to the computer. We transferred all the video for our task onto the computer where the editing software was. After that, we began editing. We opened up I movie then began discussing some editing choices we should make. After we made some decisions we began editing. We first trimmed the clips so only the parts we wanted to be shown could be viewed. Because all the clips had excess footage this took a while. We had to trim the front and back of each clip. After that, we began inserting the music. Since we already had the song picked out all we had to do was insert

Today we did our second filming session for our final project. Today was an early release day for school so we had a lot more time to film. We had a lot more to film too since our last filming session got canceled. So that worked out since we had a lot of time too film. Last time we filmed we didn’t finish filming the entire thing. So , this time we planned to start where we left off. We planned this out the day our filming session was canceled.  Once school was over we went to our filming location. After we arrived we started planning. We started planning which scenes we were going to shoot and how we were going to shoot them. After we finished planning we began re-constructing our set. We had to prepare the set we were going to film at. After we did that we prepared our wardrobes. We put on the clothes we were wearing last time we filmed. We then began filming were we left off. We told the actor and cameraman how we were going to film the shot and then the cameraman hit record. The a

   Today our plans for filming were canceled. My group had plans to film after school today. Over the course of the day we found out some news that threw off our plans. The original plan for our production today was planned out over the weekend. After school on Monday, we were supposed to go back to our filming location and continue filming. We were going to pick up where we left off and resume filming. We stopped filming during the first scene of our project so we still had a lot to do. This cancellation really throws off our schedule. We have to make up this date for filming or else the schedule will be all thrown off. The reason our plans had to be canceled is because something came up very recently and we didnt have time to plan around it. Around the same time we were going to be filming some of us have to go to a meeting. We didnt know about this meeting until today. If we knew about this meeting before hand we woduve been able to plan around it. But, the meeting is mandatory and

  Today I worked on gathering the music for our project. For our project I wanted a song that sounded happy and exciting. I felt as if that would pair well with one of the scenes. I think the scene where two of the actors are frantically searching for a hiding spot would work well with happy exciting music. To begin, I started searching for a song on youtube. I began searching on youtube for songs that I liked that sounded happy and exciting. I knew that it would be a lot of work to use a song that is copyright restricted so I first viewed royalty free music. Royalty free music is music that is free to use. These songs are less popular and have no music but are easier to use. The reason they are easier to use because if you want to use a more popular song that is copyright restricted, you need to get permission. To get permission, you need to contact the person who owns the rights to the song. Not only do you have to send them a message you have to wait for them to respond. Them respon

 Last weekend was our first day of filming. We began the production process last weekend. After school last Friday, me and my group all went to the filming location together. Once we arrived, we changed in to our wardrobe. After that, we set up the filming set. We then took a few minutes to plan our camera angles and how we were going to film each shot. We then began filming our first scene. Each actor got into their positions and the camera man into his. The cameraman then counted down like how they do on real movie sets and said “action!”. One of the actors then said the line that was being used during that shot. The camera man then switched positions as well as the actors. The next actor then said his line. We did this process the whole time we were filming. We sometimes even had to re-do some shots as actors or the cameraman would mess up. We also re-shot some scenes later on because we didn’t like how the shot turned out. We then finished up our first scene. After we were finished

  Scene 1: Luke, Ely, and Zane are all bored and sitting around Scene 2: Zane asks, “Is there anything to do?” Scene 3: Ely responds, “This sounds dumb, but you guys want to play hide and seek?” Scene 4: Luke and Zane both say, “are you serious?” Scene 5: Ely says, “You got any better ideas?” Scene 6: Zane and Luke reluctantly agree, but force Ely to be the seeker. Scene 7: Ely starts to count in his head. Scene 8: Luke and Zane start to panic Scene 9: They start sprinting to find a hiding spot. Scene 10: Shots of their legs at they run to a spot. Scene 11: Zane looks for a spot Scene 12: Zane cannot find any good spots and continues to search. Scene 13: Camera cuts to Luke looking for a hiding spot. Scene 14: Look finds a decent looking spot. Scene 15: Luke goes up to realize Zane is already there. Scene 16: Zane tells Luke to find a different spot. Scene 17: Luke gets frustrated and leaves. Scene 18: Luke runs off to quickly find another spot Scene 19: Camera shows Ely still counting
