Another Editing Day

 Todays period was cut short due to PSAT testing. The PSAT took a little more time then expected and cut 50 minutes from our period. We didnt finish the test until 1 P.M. and we didnt get to go to Media Studies until 2 P.M. Even though we had a shortened amount of time we were still able to get some work done. We didnt start until around 20 minutes into the class because we were exhausted from the PSAT. Even though we were tired we were still able to add some effects and a ending slide. We added effects such as slow mo, filters, and a gatorade logo appering infront of the shot. We added slow mo to the scene of our actor running towards the ball. We added filters to some scenes to make it more intense. Also, we added the gatorade logo to make it seem more proffesional. We added the gatorade logo to the scene where our actor was drinking out of the bottle, this was also the last scene. We must go over the commercial again to make sure everything is good. The reason why is we might not have been thinking to the best of our abilities due to the PSAT. This was a hurdle we had to overcome. In this project there has been many hurdles we have had to get over. The PSAT was definitely a big one. This introduced two problems of lesser thinking and a shortened amount of time . We still believe our commercial is good though. Even through the obstacles we still have a good commercial. We are proud of ourselves for that. Overall, it was an okay day of editing.

Production Blog: Editing Again

 Yesterday, I didn’t complete editing my entire short film. So today, I resumed editing. I got on my computer and started up my editing software. The editing software I use is on CapCut. I went over all the editing I did yesterday. This way I could see where I left off and what needed to be done. I made a mental list of what needed to be done at the end of the day. Today was pretty much the last day of editing so I had to make sure everything was done. After all of that I began editing. I pretty much just did what I did yesterday but on different clips. I started with adjusting the clips to the correct length. This made sure there was no background noise or talking. This also made sure there was no awkward silences. I then added music. This really brought the short film together. After that, I added some text to the clips. I watched it all together to make sure it was correct. After that, I put on some finishing touches.  Hello , My name is Luke Hamill and I am a sixteen year old boy. I was born on October 30th 2005. I  play sports such as football and basketball and my favorite subject in school is History. I play tight end and defensive end on the varsity football team at my school. I love film and music, especially 90s-early 2000s alternative music.
