Production Blog: Cancelled Plans

Today, our plans for production got canceled. We already had plans for multiple days to undergo production of our movie. Today was one of those day me and my group was supposed to under go production.  But, something ended up going wrong. This caused our plans for production to be canceled. Today I planned to begin editing my short film. I planned to edit on a free software called CapCut. I chose this software because it is super easy and simple to use. This was really important when choosing a software because I am not too familiar with this skill and wanted it to be easy for me. I also have used CapCut before in previous projects so I was familiar with how to use it. The main reason I chose this software is because it is free of cost to use. This is important because I am in high school and I would rather send my little money on other things. However, this doesn't matter for today because my planes ended up being canceled. They ended up being canceled for reasons that I wasn't really in control of. I had so much other homework I needed to complete that I couldn't fit editing into my schedule. This was also because I had work tonight and I didn't have much time to work with. With homework and work it was just too much. This isn't much of a problem because I can just edit more tomorrow and the next day. This is because I finished all of my homework tonight. Therefore, I will have more time for editing tomorrow and the next day.

Comparing 9, The Short, and 9, The Full-Length Movie.

  Short film 9 begins with a very dark and ominous setting. We noticed quickly that the genre was very similar to the action genre and contained a lot of its aspects. The entire film was an action / thriller. There were multiple jump scares and fight scenes . There was lots of dark imagery as well as lots of C GI like a typical action movie. The plot of the film was short obviously, due to it being a s hort film the viewer is thrown into the beginning to the middle of a longer story . It follows the character 9 as he seeks vengeance for his friends and defeats the monster who once killed his old friends. Planning Blog Props: My group and I are creating a Gatorade commercial which is why our main prop will be Gatorade. We will also be using other props like a football. In our commercial we will most likely be using one or two of our group mates as actors.  Costumes: Our actors will be wearing athletic clothes such as athletic shoes or cleats. They would also most likely wear some kind of athletic shirt or sports uniform as well as athletic pants.
